Currently studying Marketing and Management from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, David T. Ball is an avid traveler. Outside of Dallas, Texas, David T. Ball has been to internationally-recognized destinations, including the Taj Mahal in the city of Agra in India.

The Taj Mahal is often included in the seven wonders of the world and is a symbol of the excellence of Indian and Muslim architecture. While visiting this iconic 17th-century mausoleum, it is helpful to keep general tips in mind.

When entering the Taj Mahal, there are three separate gates: the East Gate, West Gate, and South Gate. The convenience and length of the line can vary based on time of year. At each gate, men and women go in separate lines through security. There are separate tickets for foreigners and locals.

Once inside, there is a large courtyard with several iconic pools. Expect crowds of people throughout. To enter the mausoleum, visitors wait in another line and must wear a provided cover for shoes. The weather of Agra can be extremely hot in the summer, so the winter is considered the best time to visit.
